RCA Annual Reports
This section contains the Annual Reports prepared by the Regional Conservation Authority each year to report
on the amount of habitat conserved and developed during each reporting period, and other information that measures
progress on the MSHCP
The MSHCP requires preparation of an annual report to summarize development, conservation,
acquisition, monitoring and management activities. It is an important element of our implementation program and
serves as a yardstick to measure RCA and Permittee (ie, the Cities) progress in fulfilling the conservation
objectives of the MSHCP.
The RCA has prepared a summary of annual report data requirements and submittal formats. If you have any questions,
comments, concerns, please don't hesitate to contact any of us. We will do all we can to try to assist you with
this data gathering process.
The RCA will continue to request that Permittees (ie, the Cities and County) submit the annual report
development related data on a quarterly basis. For example, 2008 Q1 activity should be submitted to the RCA
by April 30, 2008;
In order to achieve this goal, the RCA needs the assistance and cooperation through timely submittal of habitat
"loss" data, public works projects and development activity that took advantage of the single family/mobile
home "Expedited Review Provision."
This process will allow the MSHCP program to utilize the valuable data, insight, etc. of reserve assembly
and plan implementation activities in a more timely manner.
Thank you for your continued assistance and cooperation.
