Roy W. Kabian Memorial Park

The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (RivCo Parks) reopened Kabian Park in October, enhancing accessibility and improving the visitor experience at this spacious park, which also serves as conserved land under the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP).

Kabian Park has undergone significant renovations, featuring various amenities that make outdoor enjoyment easier. Some of the upgrades include:

  • A new restroom facility
  • Concrete pathways and ADA-compliant parking
  • Improved playground surfacing
  • A new entry gate and perimeter fencing
  • Fresh park signage and electrical panel upgrades
  • Refurbished picnic shelters and enhanced irrigation systems
  • Installation of decomposed granite for trails and landscape improvements

Established in 1968, Kabian Park spans over 640 acres and serves as both a vital ecological reserve and a community recreation space. With its miles of scenic trails and diverse wildlife, it has become a popular destination for hikers, equestrians, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
