Coordination Meetings
The RCA hosts several informal coordination meetings to assist MSHCP Permittees
and participating special entities with MSHCP implementation.
Wildlife Agency Meetings
Monthly meeting to coordinate with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and California Department of Fish and Wildlife on MSHCP implementation. Meetings are held virtually on the third Thursday of every month. Time may be scheduled by MSHCP Permittees or participating special entities to discuss general implementation questions or specific projects.
Pre-application Meetings
Monthly meetings to coordinate on MSHCP riparian/riverine policy issues with agencies that have jurisdiction over waters of the U.S., waters of the state or State streambeds. Agencies that participate include California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Regional Water Quality Control Board, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Separate meetings are held by watershed, Santa Ana/San Jacinto and Santa Margarita. Both watershed meetings are held virtually. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month and alternate between watersheds beginning with Santa Margarita in January.
