Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority Seeks New Members for Stakeholders Committee
Would you like to make a difference in habitat conservation to support the western Riverside County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSCHP)? The RCA is seeking volunteer members for its Stakeholders Committee. Applications are due Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
This Committee brings together members with varying perspectives, but who share a common interest in the success of the MSHCP. Committee members will have the opportunity to provide input to the RCA Board of Directors on agenda topics, perspectives on the implementation of the MSHCP, and help raise awareness about the plan and its benefits to western Riverside County.
The Stakeholders Committee can be appointed annually and includes up to 16 members, with membership from the following:
- Groups representing property owners within the MSHCP plan area;
- Groups representing environmental interests within the MSHCP plan area; and
- Groups representing the building industry within the MSHCP plan area.

The Chair will appoint members to the Committee with ratification by the RCA Board of Directors. The Committee will meet as requested by the Chair or Board — at least twice per year — at the RCA offices located at 4080 Lemon Street, 3rd Floor, Riverside CA 92501.
