Board Selects Norco Council Member Kevin Bash as 2025 RCA Chair

The Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Board of Directors unanimously selected City of Norco Councilmember Kevin Bash as the 2025 RCA Chair for a second term.
“Serving as the Chair of the RCA Board of Directors has been an incredible honor and privilege as an elected official,” said RCA Chair and City of Norco Councilman Kevin Bash. “Over the past year, I’ve had the incredible experience of witnessing the stunning landscapes protected by the MSHCP throughout western Riverside County and I encourage everyone to do the same. The RCA’s efforts today are vital for ensuring that these landscapes remain preserved for future generations to appreciate and enjoy in perpetuity for years to come.”
The RCA Board of Directors also reappointed Riverside County Second District Supervisor Karen Spiegel as Vice-Chair for 2025.
The RCA was created in 2004 to oversee the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP), a locally driven solution to protecting endangered species and streamlining the environmental permitting process for housing and infrastructure to support economic growth in western Riverside County.
