Explore Riverside County Parks and MSHCP Protected Areas with the Library Pass!

May 29, 2024 | MSHCP

As the school year comes to an end and gloomy skies turn to summer sunshine, here’s an exciting opportunity to explore the great outdoors! The Riverside County Parks and Open-Space District in collaboration with the local libraries is offering the “The RivCoParks Library Pass.” This pass is your key to explore Riverside County parks and open space across Riverside County, including lands that are within the MSHCP.
The Library Park Pass brings together recreation, community engagement, and literacy. The Pass offers residents the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of open space and how it benefits the 146 plant and animal species protected by the MSHCP. The Library Park Pass helps narrow the “Nature Gap” within communities that have typically not had access to nature. Through the Library Pass, families in all communities can explore the outdoors in western Riverside County.

Thanks to the RivCoParks library Pass, your library card becomes your Pass to free admission at Riverside County Parks sites, events, and educational programs for your entire family. Imagine the places you can go!

How does it work? It’s as simple as checking out a book from your local library. Imagine spending a day at these incredible places without worrying about park fees.

From the tranquil and beautiful parks protected by the MSHCP to the bike and hiking trails the parks offer, there’s something for everyone at the parks. Adventure awaits you once you’ve checked out your Pass. Some of the parks that you can explore include:
