Starting June 16, 2021, unauthorized mountain bike trails in the Temecula Escarpment, south of Rancho California Road will be permanently closed. These bike trails were illegally created on land that is conserved by the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority. This land is needed to protect the region’s plant and wildlife species, especially the imperiled mountain lion population of the Santa Ana Mountains.

Your help is needed to protect this habitat. Please do not trespass on this important land. Adhering to these trail closures will help assure that recreation can continue on other lands owned by the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority
